1. This month we learned a lot about COVID protocols and quarantine. Students and teachers are working hard in their various online platforms. We have created a FAQ document to help if your student ends up quarantined. You will be able to get a hard copy from the office and find it on the website starting next week. 

2. We are now able to take cards at the office. If you need to pay your previously assessed lunch balances, now is a great time to do it!! With free lunches for all students, it is a great time to get caught up on any debt left-over from last year or the very beginning of the year. 

3. Please remember, if your student is taking only milk, they will be charged thirty-five cents. Those can start to add up quickly.

4. We are also in need of major help getting Chromebook Contracts and the $30 insurance money in. If you are unsure if you have turned this in please contact the office. Homeroom teachers will also be reaching out to you to follow-up as well. 

5. Recently, we have reached out to students to help with announcements. Please encourage your child to sign up. 

6. This month a few groups from Mrs. Balzan’s computer science classes, with the help of our Technology Director, Ryan Gonzalez, presented to the School Board. We are always proud to have our students share their talents with the community!

7. We are very pleased with how hard students are working!! We have been doing amazing things but my favorite is always the great conversations at lunch and in the hall. I also enjoy all the social and emotional learning we do when we are having fun together!! Especially hearing all the gobbling during homeroom!! Ask your kiddos about Turkey BINGO!!

Things to Know for December

1. Due to the recent Governor’s orders, spectators at all events will now be limited to 100 people. Please be in contact with the coach or sponsor or teacher for specific information about events. We are currently working on schedules and a ticket/wristband system to allow for the most possible spectators and family members to attend. Be looking for more information about this.

2. I want to thank everyone again for their support with wearing masks. I know that this is something that is difficult but I really appreciate that we can all come together to support our students. It will still be mandatory at EVERY event in the district.

3. Middle School Music Concert will be at the High School Auditorium, Tuesday, December 1st beginning at 7:00 pm. Please contact Mr. Leathers or the office for attendance information.

5. Edgenuity is our online platform for if the worst is to happen. Teachers are working hard to get students familiar with the program while here in school. If you have any questions please let me know.

6. Be on the lookout for a Climate Survey. Please complete this as it will really help us continue to improve and look to the future.

7. December 22nd will be a 1:00 pm release.
