The Wheatland Middle School Seventh Grade Life Skills Class competed the week in a Chopped competition. The competition is modeled after the famous Food Network show and the students had a ball with the activity. Mrs. Becky Moody worked to design the competition within her classroom as students all had to make a breakfast entree. Students were given a mystery ingredient that they had to incorporate into their dishes. Students had 52 minutes to complete their dish, plate the food, and do the dishes within this time frame. All the students, teachers, and judges had a great time!
The winners were decided by the panel of well-fed judges. The period two winners were: Naomi Allen, Emma Kaushagen, and Jazlynne Gonzalez. Period 7 winners were Traylea Foland and Desirae Iacovetto. The top three dishes from each period were also recognized and given a prize.
