WMS Victorious at State Science Fair
March 3-5 @ UW
The Wheatland Middle School, along with Glendo and Chugwater Schools, attended the State Science Fair held at the University of Wyoming earlier this week. As usual, our students represented our schools well and came home with some awards. Mrs. Harnish was the leader and chief consultant on the WMS Science Fair projects and coordinated the trip to State. There are twelve categories for projects to be entered into and there was a top-three finisher from our school district in nine of those categories; that alone is outstanding!!
Along with these categorical wins, we had five Wheatland Middle School students receive the Broad-Com award for their projects. These awards are equivalent to the Best of the Best awards and are super competitive. There were also other individual awards as listed below.
Great job students and your projects were awesome to see. Way to showcase your knowledge and research ability! Go Bulldogs!!
