Career Day!

January 5th, 2018 middle school and high school students were given the opportunity to attend a Career Fair and Reality Town simulation. Students were able to visit with members of the community and learn about the different careers in Wheatland , as well as visit with Wyoming Colleges, and Military Representatives.  During the Reality Town simulation students were provided a life scenario and toured booths where they learned to juggle the financial responsibilities that come with being an adult.

                                              Food Baskets

The seventh-graders at WMS were challenged to collect 7 complete holiday food baskets for the community food drive.  They did that and more! They collected 7 complete baskets plus two more bags of other grocery items to be donated to the community food bank.  In the photo, proud seventh -graders pose with what they collected. The items were delivered to the Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday, December 13th.  These students did a great job and helped out our community!

On Wednesday, November 8th The Wheatland Middle School and West Elementary had the privilege of hosting the African Drum and Dance Troupe. Students delighted in a 45 minute educational performance showcasing african drumming, dancing, folklore, acrobatics, history, and language.
